Grant Opportunities

The Desert Hospital Auxiliary, a nonprofit organization at Desert Regional Medical Center, offers grants of up to $10,000 to eligible secular nonprofits serving the Coachella Valley.

Your proposal must:

• Address the wellness needs of underserved people, including medical care, nutrition, personal care, or interim shelter.
• Fund goods or services provided directly to program participants.
• Exclude salaries, equipment, rent, utilities, facility costs, overhead, and other operating expenses.
• Grant funds must be used by the recipient organization to provide the approved program. Funds may not be redistributed, pooled, transferred, or re-granted as cash or unrestricted aid to individuals, other organizations, or intermediaries. Payments to vendors for approved goods or services delivered directly to program participants are permitted.
• Must be able to provide effectiveness measurements and reports to the Auxiliary.

Requests exceeding $10,000 and applications received after the stated deadline will not be considered. We give priority to local organizations that raise and use resources within the communities they serve.
