Grant Opportunities

The Desert Hospital Auxiliary, a nonprofit organization at Desert Regional Medical Center, offers grants of up to $10,000 to IRS-certified secular nonprofits in the Coachella Valley.

To qualify, your proposal must meet these criteria:

• Must address wellness needs of underserved people in the local community, including but not limited to medical care, nutrition, and interim shelter.
• Must only fund direct program expenses—activities specifically tied to the program.
• May not be used for overhead costs like salaries, rent, or utilities.
• Funds must be used directly by your organization to deliver the proposed program—not redistributed, pooled, or re-granted to individuals, other organizations, or third parties.
• Must be able to provide effectiveness measurements and reports to the Auxiliary.

We give priority to local organizations that raise and use resources within their own communities.
